Goblin Cave Barlang
No one has been able to explore the cave since it was discovered many years ago. It is not known how deep it goes, or what manner of creatures resides within. It is imminently apparent however, that goblins run this hole in the ground. Not simple, standard goblins, but instead a mish-mash of goblins that – to most adventurers and scientists – is entirely inexplicable; over-sized, hellions, cavelings, lashers, thorn goblins… The list goes on, and indeed it is assumed that the cave must be either quite mystical, or the only known entrance to a massive series of caverns and underground tunnels that have been in use for ages.
Though the inhabitants of the cave rarely venture outside of their mossy stone walls, they enjoy seeking sustenance in the nearby village and are particularly fond of bringing meals home for their young. Typically this will include livestock or other animals, but all too often the menace of hunger will force them to retreat with villagers young and old – possibly considering the humanoids to be a delicacy or celebratory meal. While the villagers will often fight back, and with reasonable success (individual goblins aren’t much of a threat, you see), they are ultimately outnumbered as the goblins always travel in packs of 10 or more, and always descend upon the village in the dead of night.
